The Global Youth Economic Summit (GYES) is a platform that has been established to engage the youth population and help them understand problems and developments taking place in emerging markets, which affect the entire world economy at a grass-root level. This is facilitated through various keynote sessions and panel discussions. Moreover, the summit involves students from national and international colleges, professors, budding entrepreneurs, corporate representatives and bureaucrats. Nevertheless, it is a platform for the participants to opine and showcase their expertise on current issues.
The Youth Parliamentary Debate, an integral part of GYES, is an ingenuity by the students of Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. It revolves around adversities faced by youth and the nation as a whole. Youth Parliamentary Debate is a juncture where several big speakers from political and industrial backgrounds come together, discuss issues and enlighten the future of Mother India.

With a vision to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical implementations, Insight is proud to have hosted speakers like Mrs. Sudha Murthy(Chairperson – Infosys Foundation, Author and Philanthropist), Smt. Smriti Irani(Cabinet Minister, Information & Broadcasting and Textiles), Mr. Raj Shamani (Public Speaker), Mr. Niranjan Hiranandani(CEO, Hiranandani Group) and various other esteemed personalities who have provided an impetus to many students to have their voices heard. This year, GYES aims to raise its benchmarks and shatter preconceived notions and barriers which affect the youth.
